A lovely sunny calm day. 1ºC to start with but muchy warmer in the glorious sunshine.

Did some technique critique with John to start with then paddled up to the start. Set off with Simon, Jonn, a fairly fast girl (Georgia) and another guy (Bob). Georgia shot off at the front but I stayed with the other 3 in a tight group until the turn where I lost at least 10 boat lengths to them! Put in some effort over the next mile to catch them back up and then kept the effort high to pass them and pull out a lead. I was catching Georgia too but only very slowly.

Finished the Hare n Hounds TT in a good time and then continued on slightly easier for the longer version.
